Questions

I've been a bad blogger, I'm sorry! We've been out of town a ton and I'm just starting to get back on my feet :)
In order to make this blog as useful as possible I was wondering if anyone had any specific questions or topics they would like me to cover. I'm trying my best to give you the knowledge that I think you need, but I want to know what you need! Do you need examples on how to get your kids to eat certain foods/tastes/textures or just high fat ideas? I'm compiling the comments from other posts and I will answer those questions, I just wanted more so that I know I'm making my audience happy!

  1. Hi! I love your blog! I am the mother of a very small 8 month old. She's never been a big eater so I'm used to the small amounts she eats at one sitting but now that we are starting to introduce table foods, it seems my daughter is not interested in new textures. Any hints or suggestions to make this transition easier when my daughter is ready? Thanks :)

  2. new tastes and textures are where our troubles come from. I tried the eggs with cheese and cream and my son wouldn't eat them... just spit them out. i'll keep trying but love the blog!

  4. I'm hoping you can post more high calorie, healthy snack ideas. Especially snacks that are easy for on the go. Thank you! I love your blog!

  5. We are always on the look out for more high calorie food ideas (snacks or meals) My son who is 3 1/2 is SO picky these days it's my main job to find and make new foods he might like. Thanks~

  6. Hi! Since you've asked, I wonder if you have any idea how to effectively potty train a 3-yr-old... Diapers are sooo expensive! :)

    Cool blog, by the way!

  7. Wanted to post a suggestion to try to get more veggies in.. My 18 month old isn't very big, and her growth has slowed way down. She is a very picky eater, and many days doesn't want much after breakfast either. One food she does usually eat is mashed potatoes. So, in my quest to get some more veggies in, I pureed some freshly cooked beets and mixed them in with mashed potatoes - the result: Purple Potatoes! They were sweet, which enticed her to eat some. And, I got another veggie in - one she normally wouldn't eat on her own.

  8. I need suggestions for more high cal and healthy food options. Kathy, I love your idea of sneaking the veggies into the potatoes. I have also had to sneak things in to get him to eat his veggies. I have a very small toddler and find it hard to get him to gain weight since he is so active now!

  9. ANY advice you have is welcome. My daughter is below the curve and at 15 months is still on formula because of her weight. I am in tears most of the day because she refuses to eat more than one or two bites. Any recipes or snack suggestions or tips would be great. Oh and please, please, please more posts:)!
