I am in tears most of the day because she refuses to eat more than one or two bites. Any recipes or snack suggestions or tips would be great. Oh and please, please, please more posts:)!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11665629507056116633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1749657153941391139.post-58444674085943935262009-09-01T09:51:45.656-07:002009-09-01T09:51:45.656-07:00I need suggestions for more high cal and healthy f...I need suggestions for more high cal and healthy food options. Kathy, I love your idea of sneaking the veggies into the potatoes. I have also had to sneak things in to get him to eat his veggies. I have a very small toddler and find it hard to get him to gain weight since he is so active now!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1749657153941391139.post-8938985086583149352009-08-31T12:22:53.426-07:002009-08-31T12:22:53.426-07:00Wanted to post a suggestion to try to get more veg...Wanted to post a suggestion to try to get more veggies in.. My 18 month old isn't very big, and her growth has slowed way down. She is a very picky eater, and many days doesn't want much after breakfast either. One food she does usually eat is mashed potatoes. So, in my quest to get some more veggies in, I pureed some freshly cooked beets and mixed them in with mashed potatoes - the result: Purple Potatoes! They were sweet, which enticed her to eat some. And, I got another veggie in - one she normally wouldn't eat on her own.KathyDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17189108738320128020noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1749657153941391139.post-15051657499937155952009-08-30T20:35:01.798-07:002009-08-30T20:35:01.798-07:00Hi! She's never been a big eater so I'm used to the small amounts she eats at one sitting but now that we are starting to introduce table foods, it seems my daughter is not interested in new textures. Any hints or suggestions to make this transition easier when my daughter is ready? Thanks :)Sarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03427401430071437598noreply@blogger.com
